Why Kraken Academy

Children do not grow in separate boxes. Their development should not either.

A child can be an athlete, a student, a teammate, a son or daughter, a friend, and a future leader all at the same time. Yet many youth programs focus on only one part of that development. Kraken Academy was created around a different idea: connect the environments that shape a child so growth in one area can strengthen the others.

Our programs are designed to build skills, confidence, resilience, healthy habits, leadership, belonging and community connection through experiences children actually want to be part of.

Whole Child
Develop the physical, emotional, intellectual, social and personal skills children need to thrive.

Give parents and caregivers useful tools, trusted resources, and a stronger connection to the child's development.

Bring together coaches, educators, businesses, healthcare professionals, municipalities, volunteers and community organizations around youth development.
